Structural and morphological variability of potato starch and associated biological processes for the production of bioplastics
The main objective of this project is to select genetic resources in potatoes in order to isolate starches with properties compatible with their subsequent transformation into bioplastics. In addition, we propose to study the biological processes that control these properties, ie the initiation of polymer biosynthesis, the division of amyloplasts and the biosynthesis of amylose and amylopectin.
